Creating Your Own Wedding Flowers: How To Do It The DIY Way

As with all weddings, planning is the key. The secret is to have all the finer details sorted before your big day and everything should go without a hitch. If you are making your own flowers you will need to do a bit of ground work for preparation. Everyone's motto should be: fail to prepare - prepare to fail!
The preparation work you should do is to work out where you are going to buy the vases from, or can you rent them - are you really going to need 10 large vases after your wedding? All new brides expect flowers from their new husband but in reality is he really going to buy 10 vases worth of flowers once never mind every week! Remember: don't forget the pins, string and material to cover stems with.
Thoughtful idea: let your guests take them home or sell them on an auction site. Other research you need to carry out is where are you going to get the flowers from, perhaps talk to your local florist who should be able to help.
