Planning a wedding as well as the reception for afterwards can be very exciting. The cost of all of it can certainly put a damper on things though. Most couples do not have unlimited funds for their events so they have to cut back on expenses to make room for those they need or that they really want to have included.
Your guests will expect wedding favors to be featured at the reception. The tables will look plain and empty without them. The good news is that you have plenty of them to choose from. You can also find fabulous low cost wedding favors as well. This way you can save the money you do have for other aspects of the event.
Do not be afraid to get creative and make the wedding favors on your own. There are plenty of supplies you can choose online as well as at local craft stores. Make sure you come up with things you can make early though. That way it is one less issue to be concerned with as the wedding date approaches.
If you are getting married in the summer you can go with some great features. An assortment of seashells in colorful jars is a great idea. If you leave close to the beach you can hand select them. If not, you can buy a large quantity of them as well as the jars for a low price. You can easily create your own labels to place on the jars too that feature your wedding information.
Candy seems to be something guests are content with. Make sure you offer both chocolates and hard candies too. The chocolates can be purchased in colorful foil wrappers that will add color to the tables at your reception. The hard candies can be placed into mesh bags with ribbons tied at the top.
Key rings are something everyone can use too so why not offer them as a great low cost wedding favor? You can go with a heart theme or maybe something like too puppies snuggling up together. Your guests will enjoy placing these nice designs on their key ring to display.
You may be able to find something you really like for a low price too. Many online sites have discounted wedding favors and clearance items. This can be the perfect time for you get unbelievable deals. You may be surprised to find there are some locations where you can get colorful picture frames and beautiful candles for about $1 each. That is certainly worth looking into.
When it comes to low cost wedding favors, you do not have to sacrifice quality in order to do so. However, you do need to have a good theme in mind and be creative. There is no written rule that says you can not make them yourself or use common every day items and make them festive. Your wedding favors should be fun for you to pick, not a burden on you budget.
